Woodford J. "Woody" Lathrop, III, 79, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015.
Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joyce L. Lathrop; son, Mitchell Lathrop; daughters, Tammy L. Martin, Mitzi L. Johnson and husband Kenneth; sister, Brenda L. Johnson and husband Dwight; grandchildren, Jayden Lathrop, Danielle Perez, Hal Martin, Jessie Eskind, Josie Lathrop; great grandchildren, Isabelle Perez, Sophie Perez.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodford, III and Bertha T. Lathrop; son-in-law, Michael Martin.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
