Winnie Toups

Winnie "Aunt Nee" M. Toups, 101 a native of Gheens, La. and resident of Cut Off, La. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday August 29, 2017.

Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Cut Off on Friday, September 1st from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. noon with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Winnie is survived by her children: Lloyd "T-Loy" (Grace) Toups, and Carolyn (Bobby) T. Bourgeois, sisters; Thelma Guidry, Anna (Ella Mae) Bouquet,; grandchildren, Spencer Mauterer, Michelle Hernandez, Christopher Hernandez (Andrea), Miki Marelich (Tony), Antoinette Plaisance (Neil), Melissa Toups, Andre' Toups (Misty) & Ross Joseph Toups; great-grandchildren, Ross Vegas, Nicholas Plaisance (Alexi), Drake Plaisance (Samantha), Leland Plaisance, Bryce Brien, Ryan Toups (Kati), Jacob Toups & Alex Toups; great-great-grandchildren, Tony, Jeremy & Lindsey Marelich, Jack & Lily Hernandez, Nylah, Finley & Rhyse Plaisance, Drewhona & Dakota Plaisance and Madlyn Vegas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Toups; parents, Arthur "Toot" and Orelia "Taunt Dadel" Dufrene Matherne; brothers, Morris, Harris, Colbert, Early "Herbert", Roland and Roy Matherne.
