William "Will" A. Vegas, 61, a native of Violet, La and resident of Larose, La passed away on January 24, 2018. Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on January 29, 2018 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm with burial following in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife; Betty Vegas, children; William Vegas Jr. (Christina) Jeremy Vegas (Emily), Jessica Melancon (Chevy), Erica Sands, and Johnathan Delaune, 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brothers; Larry J. Vegas, John G. Vegas Jr., and Percy Marie, and sister; Pearly Jacobs.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children Cynthia Vegas, and parents John G. Vegas Sr. and Florence G. Vegas.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
