Wayne Anthony Folse, 53, a native and resident of Raceland, died Thursday, May, 23, 2013.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Monday at the church, with burial in St. Mary's Nativity Church Cemetery in Raceland.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jill Hohensee Folse; daughter, Beth Nicole Folse; son, Brock Jude Folse; parents, Donald Joseph Folse and Ismay Pellegrin Folse; brother, David (Valarie) Folse; sisters, Susan (Patrick) Falgout, Donna (Jan) Labat, Peggy (Paul) Blanchard, Melissa (Kenneth) Vial; brothers-in-law, Don (Amy) Hohensee, Neil (Cindy) Hohensee and Todd Hohensee; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hohensee Jr.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anatole Folse, and Mr. and Mrs. Levis Pellegrin.
He was the owner of Raceland Paint and Body in Raceland and enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. He loved spending time with his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
