Wallace P. Molaison, 81, a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Cut Off, died at 9:06 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Larose. Religious services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Larose. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Wendell P. Molaison; daughter, Betty Grace Molaison Hotard and Husband Michael Hotard; sisters, Alice M. Terrebonne, Jacqueline M. Baxter, Dinah M. Miller, and Linda Ann Molaison; sister-in-law, Beverly C. Molaison; nephews, Joel M. Baxter, Chris Molaison; Nieces, Allison T. Compeaux, Bridget B. Ouiroz, Evelyn A. Molaison, and Dina M. Kong.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Terrebonne Molaison; parents, Lawrence J. Molaison and Lena Coco Molaison; son, Eugene Molaison; daughters, Lena L. Molaison; and brother, Reynold J. Molaison.
He was a parishioner of First Baptist of Larose. He served in the United States Army.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
