Vonette Westbrook Edwards

Vonette W. Edwards, 75, a native of Gretna and resident of Raceland passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019.
Vonette is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Tommy L. Edwards; daughters, Kimberly Ann Edwards and Kelly Lynn Bertrand; grandsons, Christopher (Gina) Aucoin, Dean (Ashley) Aucoin, II, Dwayne Bertrand, Ethan Edwards and many many great-grandchildren.
Vonette was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Druescilla Westbrook; sisters, Veronica Westbrook and Vonacile Westbrook; son, Cody Edwards.
The family will be holding a private ceremony. In honor of her memory, donations can be made to the Downtown Art Guild of Houma, LA or any art program of your choice.
Vonette was born on March 30, 1944. She retired from R&R Rig Service as a partner. In her retirement she loved art. She painted and made clay sculptures. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
