Voltaire J. Bergeron, Sr., 78, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Voltaire J. Bergeron, Jr.; step son, Timmy Pitre; daughter, Laura Collins; step daughters, Gail Rogers, Kathy Varnum, Karen Rogers, Corina Ledet, Patty Lefont; 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Mae Felarise Bergeron; father, Francis Bergeron; mother, Annie Pitre Bergeron; son, Kemble Bergeron; brother, Ted Bergeron.
