Virgie Sampay Bruce

Virgie Sampey Bruce, 74 a native of Lockport, La. and resident of Cut Off, La. passed away on July 13, 2020, (not covid-19 related).
A private burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Virgie is survived by her sons, Darrell, Eli “Toby, Sr.”, Gerard and Chad Bruce;
Brothers, Clarence Thomas, Kirby and Ronnie Sampey; sisters, Joyce Bruce, Jane Chiasson, Carol Rome, Cathy Sevin, Anna Mae Sampey, Linda Taylor, Brenda Chiasson and Peggy Bergeron; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Virgie was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy “DoDo” Bruce; parents, Clarence and Belta Loupe Sampey; sister, Rita Richoux; grandson, Rickey Aucoin, Jr.
