Vinton A. "Venu" Gisclair, 60, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Monday March 24, 2014.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Sandra Bonham; mother, Violine Borne Gisclair; son, Kyle Anthony Gisclair; daughter, Cortney Gisclair; brother, Hecton "White Ford" Gisclair, Jr.; sister, Kathleen Gisclair; 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hecton Gisclair, Sr.; brother, Jimmy Gisclair.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
