Victor J. Boudreaux, 86, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away April 9th 2013. Visitation will take place Friday April 12th from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm at Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes in Cut Off and from 8:30 till funeral time Saturday April 13th at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow with burial following at Cheramie Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Church by the United Veterans League with funeral mass beginning at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his companion Mrs. Odette Orgeron, former wife Mary Ann Duet, his children Lillian Wicher and husband Hans, Guy J. Boudreaux Sr., Van J. Boudreaux, Linda Ann Boudreaux, and Sue B. Chouest and companion Jimmy Tipton, grandchildren John Wicher, Erika Day, Erik Wicher, Guy J. Boudreaux Jr, Jaime B. Lee-Watts, Natasha Chouest, Chantel Chouest, Chelsie Grant, and Dorie Bourg, and great grandchildren, George Jonathan Chouest, Destinee Chouest, Callie Nethbry, Joshua, Thomas, and Jack Wicher, Landon, Tristan, and Graven Wicher, Sabrina, Ryan, and Haylee Days, Charles and Jaden Watts, Martin Kelly the fifth and Anjolie Bourg.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Leona Thibodeaux Boudreaux, parents Alidore and Sesla Plaisance Boudreaux, son Vick Paul Boudreaux, daughter Paula Ann Boudreaux, grandchild Jonathan Boudreaux, brothers Julian and Rosanton Boudreaux, and sisters Gertrude Rousse and Victoria Gisclair.
Mr. Victor was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army who served in the Pacific Theater and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
