Valerie A. Cheramie, 59, a native and resident of Cut Off, LA passed away January 26, 2015. Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on January 30, 2015 from 9:00 am till 12 noon. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am in the funeral parlor.
Mrs. Valerie is survived by her husband of 39 years Grant "Big G" A. Cheramie Sr, children Grant Cheramie Jr and wife Lucinda, Ricky Price Jr, Brandy Rouse, and Jessica Boudreaux , grandchildren Abbigayle, Kendall, Savannah, Jace, Jacob, Emily, Harley, Evan, Vivian, Bradley and Mathieu, extended family Debra Price,and godchildren Crystal Thibodaux, Cherie Guidry, and Christy Guidry.
Mrs. Cheramie was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Rita Guidry.
She loved to crochet, especially for children in the family, on the day of her passing an newborn baby in the family, Adalee Grace, received a hat and pair of booties made by Mrs. Valerie.
