Thomas "Cornbread" Plaisance, age 52, a native of Raceland and resident of Lockport, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Visitation will be held at the Mennonite Church, 17447 Old Spanish Trail, Des Allemands, 70030, Tuesday, October 25 from 5:00 until 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, October 26 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held at the church, Wednesday at 11:00 am, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 25 years, Nicole Bergeron Plaisance; parents, Harvey and Bertha Plaisance; son, Andrew Plaisance; daughter, Allison Plaisance Tappan (Colt); a grandson, Elliott Pate and 2 sisters Debbie Rotolo (Jacques) and Sandie Dufrene (Chris).
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
