Thomas Jefferson Fletcher, V, 39, was born on Saturday December 24, 1972 in Houma, LA and died on Monday August 27, 2012 at Ochsner Medical Foundation in Jefferson.
Visitation will be held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Saturday, September 1, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow.
He is survived by his father, Thomas J. Fletcher, IV; mother, Peggy O. Bergeron and husband Bernard; daughter, Santana Fletcher and Norma DeMelo mother of Santana Fletcher; son, Zach Fletcher; brothers, Maurice Fletcher and wife Debbie, Monty Fletcher; sister, Mary Katherine.
He was preceded in death by his son, Pierre Fletcher.
Thomas was a 1990 graduate of Central Lafourche High School, graduate and instructor of Aveda Beauty College, former student of Delgado Community College for Mortuary Sciences, member of NOLA Gay Men Choir. Thomas lived life to the fullest. He never met a stranger; his life was filled with quality not quantity.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Mathews is in charge of arrangements.
