Terry Anthony Melancon

Terry Anthony Melancon, 67, a native of Larose and resident of Cut Off passed away on December 13, 2020 with his wife by his side.
A visitation will take place at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 9:00 am until 10:30. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
Mr. Terry is survived by his wife of 45 years; Patti Hebert Melancon, children; Lance Melancon (Erin), Shaun Melancon (Angelle), Michelle Melancon (Jai), Terri Lyn Creel (Trevor), and Aldon Harris (Renee), 13 grandchildren, brothers; Bryan Melancon (Eve), and Nolan Melancon, Jr. (Celine), and sister; Charleen Melancon.
Mr. Melancon was preceded in death by his parents; Nolan Melancon, Sr. and Irene C. Melancon, and brother; Ronnie Housend.
He was an outdoorsman that loved being on his tractor, crawfishing in his pond, tending his cattle, and riding on his ranger with his dogs, Bubba and Drake.
