Terry J. Cheramie, 72, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home on Saturday, October 15th from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, Toby Cheramie (Brian Hammell); daughters, Kendra Cheramie (Bernard "Trey" Miles, III), Kimberly Cheramie Gaudet (Philip); step-brothers, George Reed, Jr., Michael Reed, Dennis Reed; step-sister, Debbie Reed; grandchildren, Colby Cantrelle (Regina), Casey Wright, Kevin Wright, Caymen Wright, Colleen Wright and one on the way, 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Gail Marie Cheramie; father, Wiltison Cheramie; mother, Anna Marie "Nan" Reed; step-father, George Reed, Sr.; step-brother, Gordon Reed; sister, Juliette Cheramie; granddaughter, Kristen Lefort.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
