Telesia Marie Gros Melancon, 66, a native of Lockport and resident of Cut Off passed away on Friday February 7, 2014.
A Graveside service was held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Friday at 2;00 p.m.
She is survived by her son Vergice "Bozo" Bergeron, Jr.; daughters, Karen M. Hatcher, Stella M. Angelle, Jenny M. Gros; step son, Rodney P. Melancon; step daughters, Dawn M. Adams, Melissa Williams; 15 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Melancon; parents, Alexander and Emelda Bernard Gros; son, Harris J. Bergeron; brother, Clifford J. Gros; sister, Adele G. Lee.
