Teddy Joseph Collins Sr.

Teddy Joseph Collins, Sr., 72, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Saturday, December 5th, 2020.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with procession following to his burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Galliano.
Mr. Teddy is survived by his wife of 42 years; Patricia “Pat” Chouest Collins, sons; Joe Paul Collins (Angella), and Teddy “TJ” Collins, Jr. (Renata), daughter; Tricia Collins, grandchildren; Brittney Hunter, Devin Cadiere, Zachery Rousse, and Madison and Makayla Collins, 4 great grandchildren, brothers Keith Collins and Fr. Carl Collins, and sister Tammy Aucoin.
Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his daughter; Shannon Michelle Collins, and parents Julio “Lolo” and Melissere “Mae” D. Collins.
Following his retirement, Mr. Teddy enjoyed gardening, playing with his chickens and on his computer, watching TV, debating politics, and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Teddy was an Army Veteran and was stationed in Korea
