Ted "Fuzz" Melancon

Ted J. "Fuzz" Melancon, 68, a native of Valentine and resident of Larose passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2017.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church on Saturday, May 6th from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Ted was survived by his wife of 48 years, Diana Gaudet Melancon; son Chad (Tzena) Melancon; grandson, Cooper Melancon; step-grandchildren, Jessi T. Vincent and Justin Toups; brothers, Donald "Boz" (Emily) Melancon, Linton "Tickie" Melancon and Larry (Jean) Melancon; brother-in-law, Chris Trosclair; sister, Deborah Melancon; sister-in-law, Janet Melancon.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Alcidien "Black" and Melantine Melancon; brother, Herman "Mim" Melancon; sisters, RoHelen Shroyer, Mae (Nolan) Eschette, Mary Joyce Trosclair and Dora Jane Melancon; sister-in-law, Elaine Melancon.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
