Shirley O. Fonseca, 88, a native and resident of Larose passed away on September 7, 2017. A visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on September 11, 2017 from 11 am until funeral services. Funeral Mass will begin at 1 pm with burial following in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Shirley is survived by her daughter; Deborah Perrin (Jimmy), daughter-in-law; Michelle F. Small, step sons; Chris Fonseca (Leeann) and Frank Fonseca (Cheryl), stepdaughters; Lillian Rivero (Bruce) and Darlene Fonseca (Junior), 5 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 24 step great grandchildren.
Mrs. Fonseca was preceded in death by her husband; Emanuel Joseph Fonseca, son; Dwight Paul Fonseca, daughter; Barbara G. Orgeron, parents; Edgar and Cora T. Orgeron, and stepson; Donnie Fonseca.
She was a hard worker and loving mother. The family would like to thank the staff of Notre Dame Hospice and Chateau Terrebonne.
