Shirley H. Cheramie, 84, a native of Walnutport, PA and resident of Galliano, LA, died on Wednesday May 30, 2012.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel on Friday from 9am until 10:30am. A mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11am with burial in the church cemetery.She is survived by her daughters, Antoinette Aucoin, Angela Cheramie and companion Richard Bourgeois; grandchildren, Jonathan Aucoin, Brandon Aucoin, Rachel Duet and husband Brandon; great-grandchildren, Kyra Aucoin, Lyric Duet.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Antoine Cheramie; parents, Leroy and Alma Heffelfinger; sisters, Gloria Zuber, Marlene Troxell.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Alzheimer's Association.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
