Sharon "G-Ma" Matherne Hebert, 61, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on December 29, 2017. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 2nd, 2018 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm with cremation following.
Mrs. Sharon is survived by her children; Kimberly A. Hebert wife, Sandy R. Hebert, Reed J. Hebert Jr., wife Sherry A. Hebert, and Damien P. Hebert, wife Tabitha A. Hebert, grandchildren; Cody Michael Hebert, Chloé Marie Hebert, Shay Lynn Hebert, and Richard Allen Birnberg, and one great grandchild on the way.
Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her husband Reed "Pop" Hebert Sr., and parents; Horace J. Matherne and Marie T. Matherne.
She was the best mother any one could ask for and would give anyone the shirt off her back. She never met a stranger and her door was always open for anyone.
