Serena "So" T. Duet, 76, a native and resident of Galliano passed away January 31, 2015. Visitation will take place at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Tuesday February 3, 2015 from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and on Wednesday February 4, 2015 from 8:00 am till 10:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano on Wednesday at 11:00 am with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
Mrs. Serena is survived by her sons Allen P. Duet, Glenn G. Duet, and Darrel "Wookie" A. Duet, 3 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild and sister Arlene Nunez.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Norman Duet, parents Wilsey and Renza Terrebonne, and sister Leola Trahan.
