Samuel D. "Sam" Ranes, 57, a native and resident of Lockport died on Wednesday July 4, 2012.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 4pm until 9pm and on Friday from 9am until funeral time. Funeral services will be held in the Funeral Chapel on Friday at 11am.
He is survived by his daughters, Brandie Leigh LeCompte and husband Ethan, Samantha Ranes; brother, Danny Ranes and wife Vickie; sisters, Ella Ranes, Patricia Bourgeois and husband Wayne, Arlene Bourg; grandchildren, Logan Ranes, Madison Lyons, Tanier Lyons, Alyssa Ranes; best friends, Duane Chauvin, Stinker , Spec; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Ranes and Camellia "Millie" Godwin; nephew, Kenny Steele.
