Russel A. Santiny, 75, a native and resident of Grand Isle passed away on August 19, 2017.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church on August 25, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 a.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Russel is survived by his wife of 50 years, Glenda A. Santiny, sons, Deron Santiny (Cody), Derek Santiny (Alison) and Jarrod Santiny (Rachelle); daughter, Angelle Santiny (John); grandchildren, Haley, Raven, Seth, Mia, Connor, Dallas, Rylie, Andrew and Hayes; brothers, Nolan Santiny, Roy Santiny, Carol Santiny, Gibson Santiny and Gerald Santiny; sister, Olga Folse.
Russel was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Antonia Santiny; brother, Robert Santiny.
