Ruby F. Foret, 100, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Raceland died on Tuesday August 21, 2012.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church on Saturday from 9am until funeral time. A mass will be held at the church at 11am with burial in the church cemetery.
She was survived by her sons, Carroll Foret and wife Gale, Leon "Buddy" Foret, Jr. and wife Beverly, Peter V. Foret and wife Judy; daughters, Ena Boudreaux and husband Chester, Shotsie Jones and husband Howard, Linda DeBore; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon J. "Kaiser" Foret, Sr.; parents, Arthur and Agnes Fanguy Foret; son, Kenneth Foret, brother, Isaac Foret; sisters, Aline F. Duplantis, Allie F. LeBlanc, Mamie Taylor; great-grandson, T.J. Cantrelle, III.
She was a member of St. Mary's Ladies Alter Society, Gold Star Mother, V.F.W. Auxiliary, and American Legion Auxiliary.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
