Ruby M. Cheramie, 87, a native of Gheens and resident of Larose passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Thursday November 5th from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Irvin Dantin; grandson, Kim Dantin; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Thomas J. Dantin, 2nd husband, Louis J. Cheramie; companion, Loyman J. Orgeron; parents, Adam and Laranzia Breaux; daughter, Charlene M. Turner; granddaughter, Hayley Gisclair; brother, Percy (Jean) Breaux; sister, Pearl (Art) Williams.
