Ruby B. Arcement, 99, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 12 a.m. midnight Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until funeral services, Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at St. Mary's Nativity Church in Raceland. A rosary service will commence at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Reese Arcement, Jr. and wife Reha Arcement; grandchildren; David Arcement and wife Julie, Erich Arcement and wife Nerina Garcia and Jay Arcement and mother Joanie; great-grandchildren, Zoe Arcement, and Persephone Arcement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reese Arcement, Sr.; parents, Willy and Josephine Knobloch Bourgeois; son, Ted Joseph Arcement; brothers, Roy Bourgeois and Mabry Bourgeois; sisters, Martha Rome, Enola Bernard, and Nora Dantin.
She was a Catholic and a member of St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church.
She was the owner of Snow White Cleaners.
In lieu of flowers donations in her honor to St. Mary's Nativity Church.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Mathews is in charge of arrangements.
