Roy "Bing" Dupont

Roy J. "Bing" Dupont, 84, a native of Houma and resident of Luling passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume at Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
Bing is survived by his sons, Audie Dupont, Dale Dupont (Gwen) and Tyler Dupont; daughter, Michelle Heurtin (Tommy); sister-in-law, Nancy Dupont; grandchildren, Alissa Friloux (Joshua), Lauren Dupont, Lee Dupont, Paige Fremen (Austin) and Cody Heurtin and 6 great-grandchildren.
Bing was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Angelette Dupont; parents, Paul and Bridget Dupont; brothers, Sterling Dupont and Ralph Dupont; sisters, Gertrude Tippet, Tonya Normington, Dell Pellegrin, Elaine Callahan and Margarite Becnel.
