Roy E. Chenette, 68 a native of Groveton, New Hampshire and resident of Larose, La passed away on Wednesday July 29, 2020 with his loving family near his side.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.
Roy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cathy Theriot Chenette; sons, Roy A. Chenette (Chenelle), Lucan Quentin Chenette (Danielle); daughters, Christy Chenette (Michael Dufrene) and Ashley Rodrigue (Ryan); grandchildren, Reese, Alyssa, Deacon, Mackenzie, Addison, Brooklyn, Caleb, Gauge, and Callie; 1 great-grandchild on the way; sisters, Mary Jane Cummings and Mary Lou Gilman.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Theresa Roy Chenette.
Roy enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Long Branch Hunting Club.
