Robelyn F. Pitre, age 73, a native of New Orleans and resident of Larose, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland on Monday, May 18, 2015 with a service at the funeral home beginning at 7:00 pm.
Robelyn is survived by her husband, Tarro Pitre; sons, Dwain, Darren and Damion Pitre; sisters, Maybelle Givens, Irma Wehner, Barbara Petaskalzi; 6 grandchildren, Autumn Pitre, Aubrey Pitre, Patience Matherne, Dawn Marie Pitre, Angelena Pitre and Daniel Paul Pitre; 7 step-grandchildren, Shaun, Jett, Danielle, Luke, Danny, Jacob, Nikki; 14 great grandchildren, Colton, Mason, Lucuh, Sloan, Claire Casandra, Nyla, Lola, Aiden, Blade, Harmony, Khloee, Braydon, Liam and Traytin
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Maybelle Forstall, son, Daniel Lynn "Boone" Pitre and sister, Darlene Marquez.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org , or the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org .
Samart-Mothe of Raceland is entrusted with arrangements.
