Robbie James Istre

Robbie J. Istre, 19, a native and resident of Larose, La. passed away on Thursday August 30, 2018.
Visitation will be Monday September 3, 2018 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home from 4:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday September 4, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:00a.m. until funeral time. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. with burial in the church cemetery.
Robbie is survived by his parents; Robert J. and Jena Felarise Istre, twin-bother; Ryan J. Istre, sister; Janae L. Istre (Al Charpentier), grandmothers; Odelia Gisclair Felarise, and Shirley Spell Lebleu, foster grandparents; Keith and Debbie Henry, godmother; Sandy Vedros, aunt; Enola F. Manchester, cousin; Dylan Manchester, aunts and uncles; Tony and Kelly Istre, Walter Istre, Moonie Istre, Cindy Istre, Olite and Kirk Guillory, and numerous cousins.
Robbie was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Herman Felarise, and Melvin Istre, Sr., godfather; Joey Matherne, uncles; Herman Felarise, Jr. and Jai Felarise, and their family dog Muffin Istre.
Robbie was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing video games and listening to music.
