Ramona Robichaux

December 20, 1958 — December 23, 2016

Ramona Robichaux born Dec. 20, 1958 ended her battle with cancer surrounded by family and friends on Dec. 23, 2016 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge. Ramona graduated from CLHS in 1976 and was the 1st female drum major for the band. Called "Cookie" by her family and friends she graduated from LSU in 1980 then worked for the LA Work Force Commission as the Labor Market Specialist Supervisor. She was an avid collector and loved LSU almost as much as she loved her family and friends. She is survived by her parents Rudolph and Rose Mary Robichaux, brother Randy and Leslie Robichaux, sister Rhonda and Dalbert Varnell,Jr., nieces and nephews Rachel and Jamie Rogers, Crystal and Travis Beyer, Daniel Varnell , Summer Robichaux and Devin Chiasson, great nieces and nephew Kinley Rogers, Emelina, Abigail, and Isabella Beyer and Wilson Chiasson special friends Jana Carpenter, Sherry Hollingsworth, Sandra Keller and Cheryl Huffman.
Visitation for Ramona to be held at St. Mary's Nativity Church Raceland, LA on Dec. 30th from 9 to 11 with mass and burial to follow. A memorial service will be held in Port Allen, LA at a later date.
Pallbearers: Randy Robichaux, Dalbert Varnell Jr., Daniel Varnell, Jamie Rogers, Devin Chiasson, Rodney LaBauve, and Jimmy Ledet.
