Phillip "Pop" Navarre

Phillip “Pop” P. Navarre, 77, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 at Christian Fellowship Church in Larose 9:00 am until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 with procession following to his burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Mr. Phillip is survived by his wife: Sybil Cheramie Navarre; sons: Mickey (Mona) Navarre, Tod (Dannielle) Navarre; grandchildren: Mickayla (Kaleb), Mickenzi, Mickelle, and Mickenna, Navarre, Dylan Gaspard, Tieraney, Paisley, Dawsen, and Emersyn Navarre; 3 great grandchildren; great grand dogs: Maggie, and Otis; and sisters: Beverly Curole, Theresa (Gene) Guidroz, and Jean Gaudet; sister in law: Cynthia Navarre.

Mr. Navarre was preceded in death by his parents: Alvin Navarre Sr. and Julie Boudreaux Navarre; brothers: Aurestile M. “Tooley” Navarre and Alvin (Maybelle) Navarre, Jr. and sister: Ruby (Roger) Collins; brothers in law: Harrison Curole and Gilmer Gaudet.

Pop was a kind, gentle and selfless man that strived to take care and help anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, especially his sons, and lived for his grandkids.

Mr. Phillip’s family would like to thank Dr. Brian Parker, the staff of St. Joseph Hospice, and any physicians, nurses, and staff for their care and compassion.
