Perry "Palou" J. Cheramie Sr., a native and resident of Golden Meadow passed away Nov. 4th, 2015. Visitation will take place at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Monday Nov. 9th, 2015 from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm and on Tuesday Nov. 10th from 8:00 am till service time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral parlor beginning at 10:00 am with burial following at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery.
Mr. Perry is survived by his son Dusten Cheramie, daughter Ashley Cheramie, grandchildren Eli Cheramie, Terry Dobson, and Kavin Duet, brothers Noel, Alton, Ray, Gary and Larry Cheramie, and sisters Peggy Bowie and Mary Turner.
Mr. Cheramie was preceded in death by his parents Gerald Cheramie and Eula Mae Labiche Cheramie, son Perry Cheramie Jr., and brothers Rickey Cheramie and Dudley Cheramie.
Mr. Perry loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed mechanic work, carpentry, building model boats, fixing things and working with his hands.
