Odson A. Danos Jr., 77, a native and resident of Grand Isle passed away Sunday Nov. 13, 2016. Visitation will take place at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church on Nov. 19th, 2016 from 9 am until service time. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11 am with burial following in Westlawn Cemetery
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Elaine Punch Danos, sons Odson A. Danos III and Ryan Danos (Tanya), grandchildren Kally Danos Colletti (Richard), Hudson Danos (Ariel), Alex Danos, Tanna Danos, John-Ryan Danos, and Reece Danos, great grandchildren Eliana Colletti, brother Danny Danos, and sister Kay Danos Lasseigne.
He was preceded in death by his parents Odson A. Danos Sr and Frances Brunet Danos, and sister Jo Ann Danos Toups.
Odson was the owner of Grand Isle United Service for over 50 years. He served in the US Army E5 during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post 309 for over 40 years. He was past President of the Grand Isle Rotary Club 1971-1972 and a charter member of Grand Isle Jaycees, He loved hunting, fishing, and working.
