Norman J. Orgeron, 86, a native of Valentine and resident of Larose passed away on Saturday, August 26th, 2023.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 from 9:00 am until 11:oo am with funeral procession following to his 11: 30 am graveside service at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Mr. Norman is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rose P. Orgeron; sons: Norman Orgeron, Jr., John Orgeron (Noel Garza); daughter-in-law: Debbie G. Orgeron; grandchildren: Kenny Orgeron, Shawn Orgeron, Justin Orgeron, Jesse Orgeron; great grandchildren: Logan, Landon, Jax, Kameron, Krew; sister: Mary Jean Evans; and brothers: Esnair Orgeron, Jr., Roland Orgeron, and Ray “Black” Orgeron.
Mr. Orgeron was preceded in death by his son: Danny C. Orgeron; son-in-law: Rickie Ougel; parents: Esnair Orgeron Sr. and Rosie C. Orgeron; sisters: Anna Mae, Rosa Mae, Betty Jean, Alice Mae; and brothers: Norris, Ronald, and Melvin.
Mr. Norman was a cattleman, farmer, and welder for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
