Norecia "Belle" Chouest Cheramie a native of Galliano and resident of Golden Meadow passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at the age of 96.
Norecia will be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Alex Cheramie, Jeffery Jack Rebstock; parents, Nicholas & Angelle Chouest Chouest; brothers, Gillis Chouest, Larry Chouest, Lawrence Schouest; sisters, Alcide Ledet & Loricia Oswick.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
