Nora T. Crochet, 96, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 3:14 a.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Elmore J. Crochet Jr. and wife, Evelia, Elmer Crochet and wife, Lola, and Brian Crochet and wife, Reba; daughter, Cheryl Spurlock; brother, Terry Terrebonne; sister, Judy Henderson; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmore J. Crochet Sr.; parents, Rene and Celine G. Terrebonne; daughter, Levine Crochet; brothers, Jesty, Rene and Wilsey Terrebonne; and sister, Doris Laboard.
