Noel "Papa" Cheramie

Noel “Papa” Cheramie also known as DJ Michael James, 65, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on September 19, 2020.

A visitation will be held at Samart Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 9:00 am until service. A Celebration of Life will be held in the parlor at 11:00 am with procession following to his burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

Mr. Noel is survived by his siblings; Alton Cheramie, Ray Cheramie, Larry Cheramie, and Mary Turner, step son Shane Dupre (Angela), step grandchildren, Justin and Olivia Dupre, and step great grandson Connor Dupre.

He was a proud papa to Sophia, Wyatt, Spencer,and Beckham Guilbeau and Hayes Pitre.

Mr. Cheramie was preceded in death by his parents; Gerald and Eula Mae Cheramie, and siblings; Dudley Cheramie, Rickey Cheramie, Perry Cheramie, and Gary Cheramie.

Mr. Noel was a faithful employee to Phil Guilbeau Offshore for many years and his presence will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.
