Nita H. Zeringue, 70, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Raceland passed away August 15, 2014. Visitation will take place on August 20, 2014 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland from 9:00 am till funeral time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church cemetery.
Mrs. Nita is survived by her husband of 51 years Philip "Mike" Zeringue, son Garrett Zeringue and wife Nicole, daughter Stacey Gabb and husband Chris, grandchildren Tara Loeske, Taylor Zeringue, Brooke Barone, Shaun Barone, Shayla Gabb, Alicia Gabb, great grandchildren Cooper Loeske and Hayes Loeske, and sister Virgie Leblanc.
She is preceded in death by her parents O'Neil J. Hernandez and Lucille Himel Hernandez and granddaughter Leah Gabb.
The family would like to thank Mrs. Nita's caregivers, Journey Hospice, Dena Guidry and staff, Dr. Chauvin and Dr. Dunn
