Nita Marie Guidry Plaisance, 88, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016.
Visitation will be held at Community Bible Church on Tuesday, November 15th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Russell "Bosco" (Charlene) Plaisance; daughter, Cheryl Autin; sister, Lolita Chouest; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. "Doc" Plaisance; parents, Samson and Alexina Guidry; son, Johnny R. Plaisance; brothers, Herman Guidry, Morrison Guidry, Robinson Guidry, Rogers Guidry, James Guidry, Robert Guidry and Samson Guidry, Jr.; sisters, Alzina Pitre, Doris Stewart, Ruth Lagarde.
