Nevitte Pitre Doucet

Nevitte Pitre Doucet, 87, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Thursday, November 5th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Glenn (Eva) Doucet, Rachel D. Bourg; Richard (Robin) Doucet, Jr. and Derek (Samantha) Doucet; daughter-in-law, Nesie Doucet; sister-in-law, Janice Doucet; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one on the way, 1 great-great-grandchild and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard “Jay” Doucet, Sr.; parents, Arnold and Sedonia Pitre; children, Patrick Doucet and Phyllis Foret; brothers, Tarro Pitre, Jim Pitre and Joe Pitre; sister, Hazel Pitre Hunter; sons-in-law, Leslie Bourg, Sr. and Brian Foret.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and shopping. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her family is left with many memories of the many family gatherings that she enjoyed so much.
