Monita B. Guidry, 82, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away January 30, 2015. Visitation will take place on February 2, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm. Funeral Mass will begin at 3:00 pm with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
Mrs. Monita is survived by her husband of 59 years Dudley J. Guidry, daughter Krisandra Guidry Toups and husband Kelly Toups, grandchildren Casey Ann Toups and Cameron Michael Toups, godchild Lillie and first cousin Abby.
Mrs. Guidry was preceded in death by her parents Clovis and Justilia C. Barrios.
The family would like to thank the staff of Lady of the Sea Hospital, Dr. Gregory Maidoh, Dr R. Truett Ray, and Dr. Camille Pitre for their care and compassion attending to Mrs. Monita.
