Miller Adam Danos

Miller Adam Danos, 66, a native and resident of Larose died Monday; December 24, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He fought a courgeous battle against cancer for three and a half years.
Visitation will be at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Wednesday December 26, 2012 from 5-9pm and at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Thursday; December 27, 2012 from 10am until funeral time at 12 noon. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mae Ann Lefort Danos; five sons, Chad and wife Tika Matherne of Baton Rouge; Tate and wife Lisa Hebert of Larose; Shane Danos and partner Steven Richardson of Charlotte, North Carolina; Monte and wife Maria Hernandez of Baton Rouge; Brannon and wife Dana Edwards of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Cade, Alec, Micah, Madison and Sadie and one step grandson, Jared Webster.
He is also survived by a sister, Rita Danos Graver and husband Buddy of Luling and a brother, Very Rev. Dean Danos, V.P. of Thibodaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Clara Belle Walker Danos.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors. He was a very loving father and cherished every moment he had with his family. He was heavily invested in his grandchildren.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church where he served as an Extra-Ordinary Minister of the Eucharist and KC Council 8898.
The family wishes to thank Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center and their caring nurses and staff, Dr. James Ellis, Dr. Mark Hebert, Metro Preferred Home Health and St. Joseph Hospice.
