Mildred Breaux Dufrene, 91, a native of Gheens and resident of Mathews passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Monday August 01,2016 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, O.J. Dufrene; daughters, Cathy (Terry) Lyle, Darlene Dufrene, Tammy Dufrene; brother, Nolan Breaux; sister, Clara Bergeron; 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Octave M. Dufrene; parents, Pierre and Leonise Falgout Breaux; daughter, Ruth Bergeron; brothers, Lawrence, Leon, Charlie, Roland and Roy Breaux; sisters, Irene & Agnes Breaux, Ella Ledet and Louise Perry.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is entrusted with services.
