Melvin Michael Ledet Sr.
November 18, 1931 — January 3, 2020
Melvin Michael Ledet Sr., a native of Delta Farms and a resident of Larose, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Geraldine Ougel Ledet; daughter, Sharon Ledet Morvant (Carl); sons, Melvin Ledet Jr. (Kathy), Tim Ledet (Kathleen), John Ledet (Angie); 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ebdon Sr. and Azema Guidry Ledet; sister, Janice Ledet Danos and brothers, Ebdon Ledet Jr., Irwin Ledet and James Ledet.
A funeral mass will begin at 11:00 am, Monday, January 6, 2020 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, followed by procession to the mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donation to Leukemia Research preferred. https://allbloodcancers.org/./donate/ .
