Melvin J. “Joe” Bellanger, 79, a native and resident of Cut Off passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019.
Visitation was held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 19th from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Memorial Service was held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.
Joe is survived by his sons, Clifton (Lisa) Bellanger and Scott (Mary) Bellanger; daughters, Tammy Bellanger, Becky (Edward) Williams and Barbara (Corey) Zeringue; brothers, Johnny Bellanger and Jimmy Bellanger; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Bellanger; parents, Howell, Sr. and Vencia Bellanger; brother, Howell Bellanger, Jr.; sisters, Mary Ann Griffin, Mary Martin, Diane Arceneaux and Jeanette Hunter.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
