Melva Marie Collins, 91, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, LA passed away June 18, 2016. Visitation will take place at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church on June 22, 2016 from 10:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in Cheramie Cemetery.
Mrs. Melva is survived by her sisters Dorita C. Camardelle and Virgis C. Cheramie and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by her parents Nat and Augustine C. Collins, sister Juanita Polkey, and brothers Huey Collins and Nat Collins Jr.
