Mark Anthony Lafont, 54, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Houma passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
Visitation will be held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Monday, March 21st from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughters, Andrea Lafont, Crystal Lafont; brothers, Kirk Lafont (Scarlet), Roland Lafont, Jr., Audie Lafont; sister, Robin Lafont Adams (Joey); grandchildren, Destiny Foret, Robert Landeche, Timothy Landeche, Madison Chouest, Christian Carskadon, Gracie Carskadon, Leland Kolic, Kendra Kolic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald, Sr. and Nettie Lafont.
Mark loved everybody. He enjoyed going to the casino, smoking cigarettes, drinking coca-cola and listening to his sister and brother-in-law play music at the nursing home. He loved Classic cars.
