Marilyn "Miho" Holzer

Marilyn “Miho” Cheramie Holzer, 63, a native of Grand Isle and resident of Denham Springs passed away on Thursday, August 5th, 2021.

A visitation will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, August 12th, 2021 from 9:00 am until service time. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with cremation following.

Mrs. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 15 years: David Holzer, daughter: Tessi Bunten Meaux (Ryan), grandchildren: Cameron Archer Meaux, and Lucas Bradley Meaux, siblings: Debra Eserman, Steve Cheramie, Jr. (Dawn), Stephanie Cheramie (Reed), Jules “Jody” Guilbeau (Kimberly), and Misty G. Toups, (Andre’)and step sister: Judy G. Serigny (Eric).

Mrs. Holzer was preceded in death by her first husband: Kenneth Bunten, mother: Earline S. Guilbeau, father: Steve Cheramie, Sr. and step-father: Autry Gene Guidry.

Her daughter Tessi was her constant companion and her grandkids were her world, she loved them dearly. Miho was always the life of the party and was the craziness to our family. She was loved by everyone and there wasn’t a person she met that she didn’t make friends with. You could always count on her bringing the jello shots and without her the parties will never be the same.
